Syncing Your Work Device

If a work application is running slowly or behaving oddly, or you get a notification that your PC is out of compliance, syncing your device is the first thing to try. A sync pulls down any updates or policy requirements your PC may be missing. Use these steps on any CRL-issued PC running Windows 10 or later.

Sync your device

  1. On your device, select Start > Settings.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. Select Access work or school.
  4. Select your work account, marked with a briefcase icon or the Microsoft logo.
  5. Select Info.
  6. Select Sync.

Note: The sync can take up to 15 minutes. Please be patient and let it finish before doing anything else.

Once the sync is complete, reboot your PC.
